DeLand is an inland city with a lot of tree canopy and natural surroundings. Neighborhoods near Artisan Lakes, along Woodland Boulevard, and in the older parts of the city often have large yards with mature oaks and other trees that drop leaves, pollen, and debris throughout the year. Open pools in these areas collect a steady stream of material that has to be skimmed and cleaned regularly.
What We Do
Shiloh Screens installs aluminum-framed pool enclosures designed to cover your pool and the surrounding deck. The structure filters out bugs, leaves, and most debris while still letting in air and light. We handle framing, screen panels, and doors. Our crew does every part of the installation. Permits are commonly required. We recommend checking with Volusia County or the City of DeLand building department, or ask us when we come out.
Do trees and debris from DeLand's tree canopy cause extra wear on pool enclosures?
Leaf and branch debris can press against screen panels and add weight over time. We install enclosures with the local environment in mind.
How big of a pool enclosure can Shiloh Screens install?
We handle enclosures of various sizes. We assess your specific pool and deck area when we come out.
How do afternoon storms in DeLand affect a pool enclosure?
A properly installed enclosure is built to handle typical Florida weather. We make sure the frame is correctly anchored.
